From my childhood on I'm fascinated by the statues of Michelangelo, Rodin and especially Camille Claudel. In creating I can loose myself completely. It is a source that will never damp as life itself.
Since 2003 I’m working full-time in the Bronze Foundry of my husband. This has given me more insight and capabilities to be able to get even more out of my work. Along with Ron, I work six days a week in "De Paardenstal", Bronze Foundry and Art Studio.

The past year I was busy creating my dream project: Stairway To Heaven. A stairway to heaven, where all the angels have their own place. It is intended as homage to Camille Claudel and as antagonist of The Gates of Hell by Rodin. (Stairway to Heaven is an image of the top of the mount Purgatorio and the stairs are the Paradisum of Dante)
